Let’s take a look back at our history, starting 40 years ago in 1968. That’s when our parent company, Yee Lee Corporation Berhad Group (YLC), began its journey as an edible oil repacker in Malaysia. Since then, YLC has evolved into a fully integrated manufacturer and distributor of fast-moving consumer products, complete with its own palm oil refinery and plantations. YLC was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and was privatized in 2020. In 1979, Yee Lee Oils & Foodstuffs (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (YLS) was incorporated when YLC established an office and warehouse in Singapore to expand its business into the Asian region.

Over the past four decades, YLS has grown significantly, transforming from a supplier primarily selling cooking oils to small, local shops, into an established food industry player in both local and overseas markets.
